BOEKHOUDEN

Boekhouden: a clear view of your accounts

You want to keep your books up to date and understand what the figures mean. Boekhouden connects your first sale or purchase to a VAT overview you can check and financial reports you can follow.

Your accounts, in one place.

Open Boekhouden to work on your accounts or view the available subscriptions. Prices and subscription periods are shown in the software before you subscribe.

Start with the essentials in place

When you create an administration, a suitable initial setup is ready for you. You do not have to build an entire chart of accounts or work through every technical setting before getting started. You can begin with your business details and transactions.

Keep sales and payments together

Create invoices, record existing invoices and enter individual sales. Your outstanding items show which customers still need to pay. Full payments, partial payments and refunds can be recorded against the relevant sale.

If someone returns an individual purchase, you can record the return without creating an unnecessary customer record. Your accounts can reflect what actually happened.

See what you owe and what you are owed

Manage purchases and business expenses in the same place. Record supplier invoices, credit notes, payments and remaining credits. This helps you track unpaid amounts and money a supplier owes you.

Before posting, you see an understandable example of the accounting entry. You can check what will be recorded before you confirm it.

Work with different currencies

When you buy or sell in another currency, the original amounts remain visible. You enter the exchange rate used or the converted amount. Boekhouden processes the conversion and any exchange differences in your accounts.

Trace your VAT figures back to their source

Sales, purchases and corrections feed into your VAT overview. You can see the entries behind the amounts, helping you review your return and discuss questions with your accountant.

Keep separate businesses clearly organised

You can manage separate administrations and link them where needed. If one business receives money for another, or a shareholder pays a business expense, you can record this through an intercompany or shareholder current account.

The required setup is prepared when you create a new link. Balances remain visible separately, so you can follow what one business owes another.

Go from a total to the underlying entry

Your dashboard, outstanding items, general ledger, balance sheet and profit and loss statement show how your business is doing. You can move from a total to the underlying entries. Every figure stays connected to the transactions behind it.

Give your accountant or a colleague access with appropriate permissions. You can work from the same records while keeping visibility and control.

Manage your subscription in Boekhouden

Available plans, prices, billing periods and subscription terms are shown in the software. You can review them before subscribing. You also subscribe, manage your plan and cancel from within Boekhouden.
