KIOFA B.V.
Privacy policy
Find out how Kiofa B.V. uses personal data when you visit this website or contact our company.
Who is responsible?
Kiofa B.V. is responsible for personal data processed through Kiofa.nl and Kiofa.com and for communications with our company. Contact us at info@kiofa.com or +31 36 525 98 71. Our address is Polluxstraat 50, 1363 VB Almere, the Netherlands. Visits are by appointment only. Our Dutch Chamber of Commerce number is 96722193.
This policy covers our corporate websites and communications with Kiofa. Processing a business administration in Boekhouden may also be subject to arrangements between Kiofa and the organisation responsible for that administration.
When you contact us
The contact form collects your name, email address and message. If you email or call us, we process the contact details and information you choose to provide. We use these details to answer your question, handle your request or discuss a possible collaboration.
When your enquiry concerns an agreement, processing is necessary to prepare or perform that agreement. For other enquiries, our legitimate interest is to remain accessible and handle communications properly. Without your email address, we cannot reply to you by email.
Form messages are sent by email. We do not keep a separate record of submissions in the WordPress database. Please only share information needed for your enquiry. The contact form is not intended for passwords, identity documents or a complete set of accounting records.
Business arrangements and payments
If you purchase a product or service, we may process your name, business and contact details, agreements and invoice information to perform the contract and maintain our administration. The legal bases are performance of the contract and our legal record-keeping obligations.
When you pay through a payment provider, the information needed to process and verify that payment is shared. If you pay through Mollie, Mollie also processes payment data for its own legal obligations. See Mollie’s privacy statement for details.
Technical information and cookies
When you visit the website, technical data is processed to deliver the page and protect the site. This may include your IP address, the page requested, the time and information about your browser. Our legitimate interest is to provide a functioning, secure website and investigate errors or abuse.
WordPress uses functional cookies when an administrator logs in. Public pages do not contain advertising pixels or automatically embedded YouTube players. A link to YouTube only connects you to that website when you follow it. Your browser provides settings for managing or deleting cookies.
Visitor statistics with Matomo
We use Matomo through stats.kiofa.com to understand how our websites are used. This shows us which pages are visited and which links are clicked. The information processed may include the page visited, time of visit, referring website, browser and device information, and IP address. Matomo may use cookies to recognise visits and returning visitors.
We use these statistics to improve our content and how our websites work. If you would like more information about this processing or wish to object, contact us using the email address in this policy. You can also manage and delete cookies through your browser.
Who receives your information?
Hosting, email and other technical providers may process information to deliver, maintain and secure our websites and communications. Accounting and payment providers may also be involved in fulfilling an agreement. We disclose data to competent authorities when legally required.
We do not sell your contact details. The fact that other websites and channels belong to Kiofa does not mean that your message is automatically published on those websites or used for advertising.
Looking after your information
The websites use an encrypted HTTPS connection. We limit the information required by the contact form and use it to handle your message. How long information remains necessary depends on resolving your enquiry, any agreements and relevant legal obligations or disputes.
Your rights
You can ask which personal data we hold about you and request correction of inaccurate information or deletion. Where the law allows, you can also request restriction or portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If a processing activity relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
Send your request to info@kiofa.com. We may need additional information to establish that the request comes from you. Please do not send a complete copy of your identity document without being asked. We normally respond within one month and explain any legally permitted extension.
You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, or with the competent supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.
Other websites and changes
This site links to Boekhouden, our publications and YouTube channels. Those environments may have different features and their own privacy information. Please check that information when sharing data there.
We update this policy when the way we process information on our corporate websites changes. Contact us if you have a question about this explanation.
